Technical

The timber frame construction sector is still very much a growing industry. With this in mind we are not only committed to total customer care, we design, manufacture and deliver timber frame buildings meeting the strictest demands of our clients.

Highly experienced, quality conscious personnel are at your disposal to provide practical support and advice on and offsite. Our design team and technical support are extremely proficient in meeting the demands of complicated structures, the performance requirements of the ‘Code for Sustainable Homes’ with an environmental impact and value for money approach. This is an invaluable part of our service to all contractors but in particular those unfamiliar with using timber frame solutions.

Manufacture

At Unitek we utilise all the latest technology and innovative components to produce highly energy efficient, environmentally friendly building solutions to meet or exceed the requirements of our customers. Whether that be individual dwellings, multiple developments or multi storey apartment blocks. In fact, we have just completed our largest ever project - a 165-room motel for the Days Hotel chain in Leeds.

Working within a purpose built quality assured environment, we are able to produce exact panel structures allowing the smooth erection of a quality, off site manufactured structure, on site. Not only will this free up the time of key contractor personnel, it significantly reduces construction time, resulting in huge savings on labour, plant, security and insurance costs that are associated with build timetables.

Accreditation

At Unitek Timber Frame Systems we only use sustainably managed timbers from Scandinavian or Canadian woodlands and the insulation used to meet strict energy efficient demands is CFC free.

Unitek’s design and manufacture operations have been assessed and meet the requirements of various quality and standards certifying organisations.

We have achieved ‘ISO9001’, UKTFA Q-Mark quality scheme, ‘Q-Mark Plus’ and have a National Standards Authority of Ireland Certificate. We are also members of TRADA and the United Kingdom Timber Frame Association (UKTFA) making Unitek a company you can be confident to work with.

The Team

The ongoing expansion of the Unitek team will compliment the growth of the product and industry. We continue to create and maintain ‘partnering’ relationships with both new and existing clients to enhance an already impressive portfolio of projects.

To cater for our ever increasing customer base in England and Scotland we have created a dedicated Design and Commercial team based in Lancashire, North West England.
